I've always been intrigued by the
apparent paradox of the dual nature of light. Behaving as both a
particle and a wave, the behavior of light is a very interesting
phenomenon. I remember first reading about Einstein and his Theory of
Relativity as a young boy and being fascinated by it. Although I didn't completely understand it (as if I do now), there was still
something about it that was completely mesmerizing.
Another example of a paradox that has
made an impression on me pertains to the fifth dimension. The essence
of the fifth dimension is that it smaller than an atom, yet all of
the universe fits inside of it.
A paradox that exists as a play on
words, or contains faulty logic, is annoying and a waste of energy
for me. There are too many beautiful paradoxes to spark our
imaginations and open unexplored worlds to our minds.
